So my birthday is in October (14th to be precise). My last birthday - only 3 months ago - involved me opening a card from my brother saying he would get me a pair of Rayban Wayfarers, and he let me pick out a pair myself. Long story short, there was a lot of faff trying to get a hold of them due to some dodgy websites (god love him for trying) and EVENTUALLY they arrived a few weeks before Christmas. I haven't had a chance to blog about them yet, so i thought now was a good time!

So i decided to get the classic black Wayfarers with the green resin tint. I thought this lens was a bit cooler and more quirky than the normal blue/grey tint.

Another good thing about having a proper pair of sunnies is that they actually have a substantial UV protection. Most cheapo sunglasses bought from Primark etc actually absorb more radiation than reflect it - causing more harm to your eyes. Don't know about you, but i definately do not want crows feet from squinting in the sunlight either!

I can't wait to sport these in the summer, I'm going on holiday with friends after exams are over. It's a sort of 'goodbye' cause we'll all be going off in our separate ways to uni or whatever. Anyway, at least i know i'll be safe from the sun with some sweet shades.
